Here are some more pictures of Eldar, when I published this entry, I realized there weren´t many of him. Enjoy, enjoy :)

Yesterday was our sumarmarkaður at Eyrún´s school. Here you can see a couple pictures of our table, the things that we had managed to make these last couple months, and we actually managed to sell some of it. It didn´t go as well as the last one, since everyone shops more Christmas presents then, but it did pick up near the end. Sara makes the dolls, I make most of the animals (which actually can not be seen on these pictures) and between the two of us we did the rest, little gnomes, flowers, flowerpot decorations, ladybugs and snails.

And here are the children, ever growing, ever changing. Eldar has become quite the handful, sometimes I am just grateful that he isn´t walking yet, I would have to go running after him anywhere he went. He´s turned into a little eating machine, loves anything he tries, even fish. It´s just amazing how much a little person like that can eat. He destroys flowers, eats sand and bugs off the ground, bites and scratches and pulls on Eyrún´s hair, and anytime you get him too close to another person in a store, he smacks them on the back of their head. This is actually hilarious, his face goes all serious and he´s so fast there´s no way to stop him, he just swipes out with catlike reflexes and smacks whoever´s too unlucky to be standing there. And let me tell you, he really smacks you good. But of course, we stifle our laughter, put on a serious face, or maybe more of an embarrassed face, give our apologies and try to get Eldar to understand that, no, you don´t go around smacking people on the back of their head. He doesn´t get it.
Eyrún is getting so tall and very aware of herself. She goes into the bathroom to look at herself in the mirror, while tralalaing to herself and murmuring "oh, I´m so pretty, I look so pretty.." I don´t know where she gets this from :) She´s fascinated by bugs these days, the ladybug has always been her favorite. Now all of a sudden she loves rolypolys (sp?) and let´s them crawl all over her, even up her arms. I don´t know where she gets this from either. She´s quite the little prakkari too and the two of them together are very funny. Eyrún throws a ball at Eldar´s head and he thinks it´s hilarious. He
puts his finger in her mouth, she bites it, and he laughs his head off. The two of them fight over
bread and cookies, if Eldar sees Eyrún eating, he starts to scream and throw himself on the floor
until he gets something too. He already has temper tantrums where it´s impossible to touch him,
you just have to leave him convulsing on the floor.
They take their bath together and have lots of fun splashing all over the place until Eldar starts
to pinch Eyrún, he´s fascinated by skin, even pinches himself when he finds himself naked,
but Eyrún is not thrilled with this and always
complains,
"Me está klípando!" she says, using the Icelandic verb in her Spanish phrase.
Yes, there is never a dull moment around here with these too. To top it of my allergies seemed to have left me speechless, I have no voice to speak of these days :)
Hope to hear from everyone soon, miss you all :)

Too tired to write, but I did get up sufficient energy to load in some pictures. The series down below is very funny, but it came out backwards, so you have to guess the order!
