New pictures of the love of our lives, the apple of our eye (in Spanish that phrase is the girl of our eye, in this case, very fitting), the ever smiling, ever happy, most beautiful baby in the world.......Eyrún! (and her mother too in one of them, but that´s just by accident.)
We had lots of fun this weekend with Ágústa who came for a four day visit from Denmark where she´s finishing up her bachelor´s degree in Mediology (am I right?), 3D computerizing, animationizing and stuff like that (I´m making up new words, don´t worry, folks, my English isn´t that bed, not yet at least!). Eyrún was very calm around her, doing her normal show of being adorable, giggling, gurgling, laughing and talking the weekend away (something that we also did a fair amount of, since we hadn´t seen each other for a pretty long time, that is, all the same as Eyrún except maybe for the gurgling part).
And once again, back to real life, Manu in Zaragoza and Eyrún and I alone for two days, doing our normal routine of sleeping, eating, sleeping, eating some more, and playing in between (once in a while pooping up a storm).

New pictures documenting Eyrún´s budding life!
Here she is, already holding up her head and doing a very good job of holding herself up on her stomach. We help her flip over to exercise her muscles, but she´s getting very good at it and is stronger every day, any day now she´ll flip herself over.
She has definitely become the center of attention of our household, (even the cats know that although Mishka has some trouble in understanding it, being so stupid), and the heart of our happiness, being such a happy baby herself, squealing with joy all day, and instead of crying to get our attention (the few times she doesn´t have it) she either laughs or lets out a big shout with this great voice that she has (we´re already thinking of sending her for singing lessons).
So now Easter vacation is over and we´re back to normal life, which means me and Eyrún alone at home most of the time. But the weeks will hopefully go by fast and sooner than we know it we´ll be in Iceland this summer, yay!

Here´s Eyrún with her afi!
Pabbi came for a too short of a visit (only four days), just enough time to check in on Eyrún to see how things were going.
They made great friends, Eyrún seemed to remember him, although she was a bit shy to begin with, but soon enough she was having long conversations with him, smiling, laughing, giggling, gurgling, shouting and squealing, in short all her repertory of sounds.
So we had lots of fun, and here are some pictures to show it!

So here are some new pictures just to keep you guys posted. Eyrún has grown a lot since mamma/amma was here visiting, she now weighs almost 7 kilos and is 61 cm. And now pabbi/afi is on his way on Thursday for a short visit too.
Lots of news to tell, but too complicated and exhausting to explain while we still don´t know how things´ll turn out. Enough to say that we´ve found our dreamhouse, it´s just what we wanted, a house near the mountains with a garden for Eyrún to play in, but we´re having all kinds of problems and for now, just trying to hang onto it. More details later, when things are clearer. For now, just one day at a time, and enjoying life with Eyrún! Ú
