Here´s a whole bunch of new photos, seeing that I haven´t posted any in three weeks.

The outside world in constant turmoil doesn´t affect these little lives, and their own little world flows on as if nothing were happening. Wouldn´t it be nice to be so oblivious, at least once in a while?

I forgot to turn one of the pictures, couldn´t find out how to do that after posting it. Even so, I hope you will enjoy (the show) the snapshots. Eldar is getting bigger every day, yes, he is sitting up by himself, and finally starting to eat a little bit of grautur. Eyrún is very happy at her leikskóli, even though she always says goodbye to me crying and shouting, but as soon as I´m gone she´s happy as a clam, playing with her friends, Manu (who she calls pabbastrákur, since he shares his name with her father) Eduardo and Anita among others.

And now finally it´s getting cold here, starting to rain and feeling like autumn, and the only thing I want to do is hibernate under my big sæng. We´ll see if the kids ever let me. they have so much energy they´re awake at six in the morning!

A typical afternoon for us, Eyrún eating pinenuts and sunflower seeds while Eldar and I and the four cats sit and watch, in between
singing songs, hanging up laundry, and switching Eldar around his

various places, either my lap, his chair or his playpen.

The cats just love it when we come outside,

they´re always around, Mishka mostly to see if she´ll get any food and try to sneak into the house, Tishu to be petted and the little kitten goes with him wherever Tishu goes. The kitten is the newest family member. We think he´s Tishu´s son. He just decided to come live with us one day, and here he still is. Tishu is the perfect father, it´s an amazing thing to watch. They walk around together, once in a while playing with each other´s tails, washing each other, and when Tishu lies down to sleep the little one lies on top of him!

Eldar and Eyrún have become good friends, Eyrún often helps me to calm him down and distract him from his moments of complaining. He just adores Eyrún as you can see on these pictures, watches her every move and often ends up laughing his head off (which makes Eyrún feel great!), screaming with joy while she jumps around dancing. Let´s hope this lasts as long as it can :)
